However, because of the lack of basic knowledge of Tencel fabrics and the experience in controlling quality differences, Xingdu Textiles Insufficient, always use past experience such as polyester and cotton to ask Tencel, which will cause a lot of controversy.

The most commonly used Tencel fabric is the G100 standard type. This kind of fabric has a remarkable feature, that is, the cloth surface will show a peach skin effect after being sand washed. It is precisely because of the sand washing process. , Resulting in a series of sand-washed Tencel fabrics that will not have problems on polyester and cotton fabrics, mainly in the following aspects:

1. Chromatic aberration. The bulk color of the sand-washed Tencel fabric and the confirmed color sample have a large color difference, a large cylinder difference, and a large unevenness, which are basically 3-3.5. Tencel color samples are not sand-washed or mixed with hundreds of sand-washed, bulk goods are sand-washed separately, and the sand-washing environment is different, and the color difference occurs; the degree and direction of the color change before and after the sand-washing is difficult to control artificially; After the silk is out of the tank, one horse is usually washed with sand as the ship sample to confirm, but there is still a color difference between the bulk and the sample; the Tencel sand washing tank only washes 2 horses, naturally there is a sand washing tank difference; the finished inspection has a sand channel or rub When the cloth surface is damaged, it will be improved by sand washing again or 3 times, and the difference will be even greater. The color change of Tencel fabric is also strongly related to the feeling of sand washing. If heavy sand or front and rear sand is required, the color will be It cannot be too high; the color light source and the moisture absorption state of the fabric will also cause color differences; the selection of good and stable reactive dyes and the recruitment of excellent workers to operate carefully will definitely reduce the color difference, but the dyeing factory is facing greater cost pressure In the case of strong dyeing factories, it also lacks motivation for improvement.

2. Abrasions, sand passages. Tencel has a coefficient of expansion of 1.4 when exposed to water, and sand-washed Tencel fabrics are prone to scratches and sand passages during dyeing and sand washing, especially dark sensitive colors such as navy blue, dark gray, and deep red, and light colors are much better. . Although we have taken measures such as reducing the tank volume, arranging several times, and repeated sand washing to improve, we still cannot stop it.

3. The size of the horse is small and the score is high. The sand-washed Tencel fabric requires manual operation and has a lot of water absorption, which is subject to the worker's ability to hold weight. The weight of the fabric generally ranges from 30 to 60 meters, and the rolling is generally 2 pieces. Since the length of the horse is small, the small non-continuous defects are generally not cut, and the larger ones are marked with defects, so that the whole roll is scored higher, and generally no more than 35 points/100 square meters is a qualified product.

4. Long delivery time. The production process of sand-washed Tencel fabric is very long, there are many steps, and the flow is not in time, which delays time; many processes in the sand-washing stage require manual operations, and the production efficiency is low; after the tank is discharged, the Tencel is usually sand-washed as a sample of the ship. For confirmation, the customer must also send the confirmed samples or made samples abroad for confirmation. If the confirmation is delayed for more than 10 days and a half month and 1 month, the production can not be continued at all; the color reproduction of Tencel fabric is very unstable, and the color is often repaired; There are very few factories that can make sandwashed Tencel fabrics well, they are concentrated and have poor substitutability; Tencel fabrics have strong seasonality and often form a backlog during peak seasons, and they are also susceptible to interference from large wholesale orders.

Because of the characteristics of the Tencel fiber or the processing technology, there are some common problems with sand-washed Tencel fabrics, which are listed here, but not detailed: the wet fastness of the Tencel fabric, the fastness to chlorine bleaching, and the low fastness to sunlight. Good; Tencel fabrics are prone to watermarks, so they should be covered with cloth and ironed. When watermarks are encountered, they should be dried with a hair dryer or the whole clothes fall into the water. Do not air dry; Tencel fabrics should be sand washed with a softener and dry at low temperature. Stretching, the fabric is soft and draped and elegant, not very stylish, the weft is generally formed naturally by the internal stress balance; a large number of artificial floors are operated in a wet state, and there are occasional encounters with dirt and color.
