Introduction to Roman cloth

Roman cloth is a kind of knitted fabric, weft-knitted, made by double-sided circular knitting machine. It is also called ponte-de-roma, commonly known as ponte-de-roma. Roman cloth is a four-way loop, the cloth surface is not flat with ordinary double-sided cloth, and it is slightly slightly and irregular.

The fabric has good elasticity both horizontally and vertically, but the horizontal stretch performance is not as good as the double-sided fabric, and it has strong moisture absorption.

Used to make close-fitting clothing, breathable, soft, and comfortable to wear.

Roman cloth weaving process

Weaving and producing on ordinary double-sided machines are divided into two types-ordinary roman cloth and advanced roman cloth. The knitting process on the machine is as follows:
1. Knitting needle arrangement-knitting roman cloth, knitting needles are arranged in the way of ordinary double ribs (cotton wool). 1F and 2F are knitting double rib structure (cotton wool structure); 3F is that the dial knitting needles do not participate in the work, and all the needles of the needle cylinder participate in knitting; the 4thF is the needle cylinder.

2. Ordinary roman cloth triangle row knitting needles do not participate in the work, and all the dial knitting needles participate in knitting.

3. High-grade roman cloth triangle arrangement-1F and 2F knitting double rib weave; 3F and 4F dial knitting needles do not participate in the work, the cylinder knitting needles are low Zhong knitting needles and high Zhong knitting needles to participate in the knitting; 5F , 6F is that the cylinder knitting needles do not participate in the work, and the dial knitting needles respectively participate in the knitting with the high-chung knitting needle and the low-chung knitting needle.
